A lot of people were laughing when we watched The Seventh Seal in my Romance and Tragedy class.  It angered me because the film is dark and a reminder of the grim times after the crusades.  It’s not only a beautiful example of existentialism, but it also holds truth to the tie between man and religion, for it is still illuminated today.
